Teaching Postdoctoral Fellowship in Japanese Studies (Academic Year 2021\u20132022) <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Center for Japanese Studies at the University of Michigan is now accepting applications for a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Japanese Studies for the 2021\u20132022 academic year. This Postdoctoral Fellow will be expected to teach three courses over the academic year, as well as to participate in Center events and related activities at U-M. The applicant\u2019s research can cover any historical period of Japan\u2014including contemporary Japan\u2014and involve any academic discipline in the humanities and social sciences. The fellowship will cover up to a 12-month period between August 30, 2021 and August 28, 2022, and will carry a salary of approximately $57,000 plus benefits, pending Lecturers\u2019 Employee Organization (LEO) negotiations, as well as $3,000 in research funds. The postdoctoral fellow will be provided a shared office and access to libraries and resources at the University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
