The Department of East Asian Languages and Literatures at Yale University seeks to make a tenure-track appointment at the rank of assistant professor in Japanese literature and\/or related humanities fields who concentrates in any period from the premodern to the modern, to begin July 1, 2022.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We encourage applications from scholars with any area of specialization, including those whose work traverses multiple East Asian languages and\/or is comparative in method. Applicants must have a\u00a0PhD or equivalent degree at time of hire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
