Contraintes patriarcales dans la migration : exp\u00e9riences genr\u00e9es chez les migrants\/expatri\u00e9s japonais en France<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Cette recherche propose de mener une r\u00e9flexion autour des pratiques sociales genr\u00e9es qualifiables comme \u00ab contraintes patriarcales \u00bb aupr\u00e8s des migrants\/expatri\u00e9s japonais install\u00e9s en France. Quoique la migration japonaise est aujourd\u2019hui caract\u00e9ris\u00e9e comme une mobilit\u00e9 internationale privil\u00e9gi\u00e9e \u00ab Nord-Nord \u00bb ou \u00ab Nord-Sud \u00bb, un d\u00e9placement d\u2019un pays d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 vers un autre pays industrialis\u00e9 ou en cours de d\u00e9veloppement, leur mobilit\u00e9 a des particularit\u00e9s bien sp\u00e9cifiques par rapport aux autres mobilit\u00e9s privil\u00e9gi\u00e9es, notamment en mati\u00e8re du genre. Le Japon, \u00ab mauvais \u00e9l\u00e8ve \u00bb sur l\u2019\u00e9galit\u00e9 femme-homme, conna\u00eet encore aujourd\u2019hui des pratiques et coutumes fortement patriarcales. Et avec la mobilit\u00e9 accrue des ressortissants japonais dans le monde ces derni\u00e8res d\u00e9cennies, cette structure genr\u00e9e des rapports femme-homme est \u00ab export\u00e9e \u00bb dans le pays d\u2019arriv\u00e9e, qui dessine une forte asym\u00e9trie genr\u00e9e au sein des familles de migrants japonais. Cette recherche reposant essentiellement sur des enqu\u00eates ethnographiques men\u00e9es dans des localit\u00e9s diff\u00e9rentes dans l\u2019hexagone essaie d\u2019interroger comment les migrants\/expatri\u00e9s expos\u00e9s \u00e0 d\u2019autres cultures et modes de vie, notamment \u00e0 la place diff\u00e9renci\u00e9e des femmes et la pluralit\u00e9 des mod\u00e8les familiaux appr\u00e9hendent une autre r\u00e9alit\u00e9 qu\u2019ils observent dans le pays d\u2019arriv\u00e9e, et s\u2019approprient de nouvelles identit\u00e9s f\u00e9minines-masculines, ou au contraire, conservent la culture de domination masculine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Patriarchal Constraints in Migration : gendered Experience of Japanese Immigrants\/Expatriates in France<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This research examines how \u201cpatriarchal constraints\u201d shapes everyday life of Japanese migrants\/expatriates settled in France. Although Japanese migration can be characterized as a privileged international mobility of \u00ab North-North \u00bb or \u00ab North-South \u00bb, a settlement from one developed country to another industrialized or developing country, their mobility has very specific characteristics in terms of gender. The Japanese society, a \u00ab bad student \u00bb on gender equality, still preserves strongly patriarchal norms and practices. Along with the increased mobility of Japanese nationals around the world in recent decades, this gendered power relation is \u00ab exported \u00bb to the country of arrival, still maintaining a strong gender asymmetry within the families of Japanese migrants. The research conducted at different places of France in the ethnographic methodology tries to examine how these Japanese migrants\/expatriates exposed to other cultures and ways of life, particularly to the different women\u2019s social status and the plurality of family models, perceive another realty in the country of arrival, and acquire new feminine-masculine identities, or on the contrary, preserve the culture of male domination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
