The project is a comparative study of cultural reforms, linguistic renewal and literary renaissance movements in three imperial traditions: Russia, Turkey and Japan. It studies the negotiated cultural models in modernization and westernization processes, language reforms and emerging modern literary practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"job-description\"><strong>Job description:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Conduct and publish high-quality research within the framework of NONWESTLIT.<\/li><li>Co-responsibility in the collection of data, their analysis and interpretation.<\/li><li>Collaborate closely with other researchers in the project.<\/li><li>Disseminate results from NONWESTLIT at international conferences and in high-quality academic outlets.<\/li><li>Participation in research administration and the organization of project\u2019s related events (e.g.,webinars and workshops).<\/li><li>The position provides opportunities to advance the candidate\u2019s own research agenda within the framework of the project, including research related travel opportunities.<\/li><li>Starting date: September 2022.
