On behalf of the local organizing committee, chaired by Dr Akiko Uchiyama, we are happy to announce that the Fifth East Asian Translation Studies Conference (EATS5) will be held at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia on 26-28 June 2024.
EATS5 will mark ten years since the foundation conference at the University of East Anglia (UK), and we sincerely hope that you will join us to celebrate the occasion.
The theme of the conference is ‘Negotiating the Borders of Translation in East Asia’. The keynote speakers will be Prof Min-hua Liu, Dr Meredith McKinney, and Dr Adolfo Gentile. Here is the link to the conference webpage and Call for Papers:
