The Department of History in the College of Arts and Sciences at Texas A&M University invites applications for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor in any aspect of East Asian History to begin in the fall of 2024. The chronological and topical focus is open. Successful applicants will complement and extend existing department strengths in multiple research areas. The successful candidate will maintain an ambitious, productive research agenda, teach two courses per semester, recruit and train exceptional students, and participate in university and professional affairs.

Qualifications

The successful candidate must have a PhD in history or a related field.
