Japan Past & Present Library Services Survey (for Researchers)

Dear colleagues,

On behalf of the Japan Past & Present (JPP), a project of the Yanai Initiative for Globalizing Japanese Humanities at UCLA and Waseda University, we write to share a survey gathering input for our Library Services Team. JPP serves as a centralized digital hub for interdisciplinary and international research in the Japanese humanities, bringing together wide-ranging resources for and facilitating communication among scholars from around the world.

By receiving your thoughts and input, we will be able to develop operations, strategies, programs, and activities to more optimally and more equitably serve Japan Studies information specialists and scholars.

The survey will close on March 31, 2026. It will take approximately 15 minutes to complete and your responses will remain anonymous. We thank you for your time and participation. Please also spread the word to your colleagues and graduate students! This survey is intended for researchers, faculty, instructors, and graduate students. https://bit.ly/JPPSurveyR

If you are a librarian, information specialist, archivist, or curator, please fill out the Librarian Survey: https://bit.ly/JPPSurveyL
